One Must Feel To Live…

#MiracleChallenge : Week – 4

1. Write a short story using prompt sentence –

“Everyone has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.”

One Must Feel To Live

When no one is looking and I’m all alone,

And the doubt starts to overwhelm,

Experience has taught me that it’s time to let go, and

Allow the warm raindrop like fear to roll down my cheeks.

It’s a form of release that must be acknowledged and allowed,

Or the emotions slide behind a wall, that is very hard to scale.

I’ve been there, freezing cold, reserved and unfeeling,

Saw myself in the mirror without that twinkle in my eye.

I struggled, fought hard and continue to celebrate the day

I bid that wall Good bye!

2. Write a Poem using below two prompts-

* DISTANCE

* PHOTO

To My Dreamer

In my hand is an old photograph

Of you and I when we were very young.

12105802_10206959614256345_3251725556569996374_nI loved you then, like you say you love me now.

You’ve decided you want me in your life,

Those words have been dangling for a year.

Our life decisions took us down different  roads,

I am pleased that our paths crossed again,

It’s  been nice to walk with you for awhile,

And share our dreams of what might have been.

I will cherish the echos of us forever in my heart,

 But think it’s best I put some distance

Between us and  continue on life’s path,

                 Alone.

Kind Regards and Keep Moving Forward – K

      1. Okay. It’s a worth a read. Thank you for sharing. I can feel your other side of your cheerful face. I’m glad my prompt sentence pulled out and released your inner negativity free. Let them go out and stay there itself. Don’t let them inside you again. I always like to see a cheerful K. 🙂

  2. Hey, K – Just love your #1 poem, One Must Feel to Live. That warm raindrop really gets me.

    So how do I play? Do I right my short story here, or is there someplace else I should be posting (like on my own blog)? Thanks for including me (all of us) in your challenges! I am grateful for the support of this community!
