Contentment in now

As a young child

I could

Lay on a blanket

And get lost

In the beauty

Of deep blue skies

Decorated with wisps

Of white clouds

Seemingly forever.

Fifty years later,

Things haven’t changed,

Yesterday at lunch,

No blanket needed,

My eyes, heart & soul

Gravitated upward.

Eventually those wisps

Move on,

Their majestic

Peaceful exuberance

Kind Regards and

Feeling content – K

    1. Excellent point! How easy to forget, when we are caught up in the busy busy busy of work, bills… So much beauty in our surroundings, if we just take a moment to breathe and take a good look around. ๐ŸŒท๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒท๐Ÿ’•

  1. Astounding pictures and beautifully portrayed thoughts.. my few words on the two pics hope u like them..

The bright light shines as if
    Hope has spread it’s wings
    Teaching us to fly, saying
never to give up my child.
Life is beautiful, has its colors
Just open your wings and touch the sky.

Tough times never last tough people do
Strong are the hands of people
    Who believe in ME, and
move on with faith and hope.
When sadness fall make you weak,
Just look above in the clouds u see
Spread is my hands just above you.
I bless each day and always you.
Just hold my hands, my fingers tight
Will never let you fall, trust ME for that..

    1. Your interpretation so fitting! A little something I often call โ€œPerfection in wordsโ€!

You certainly do spread joy and hope
      Wherever you go! โ˜€๏ธ

      Iโ€™m honored! โค๏ธ๐ŸŒŽโค๏ธ
