Silence

Silence can be golden,

So loud it’s deafening or

Heartbreakingly sad.

Silence, so peaceful or

Possibly frustrating,

How can such a simple

“S” word, make

One happy, sad or mad?

Only seven letters create

this powerfilled word,

Containing monumental

Emotional control.

Noise, most certainly is

Quietly seething

With intense jealousy!
