The Beatles Song Of The Day: “Good Day Sunshine”

A great reblog to start your Monday!

Thank you slice of life! ☀️

The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Good Day Sunshine.” “Good Day Sunshine” is the first song on side 2 of The Beatles “Revolver” album. The song was written by Paul at John’s house on a sunny day. Paul would later admit to being influenced by the Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Daydream.” I’ve always loved this song, like a lot of Beatles songs it puts me in a good mood when I hear it. The Beatles have always had that ability to bring me up when I’ve been feeling down. John Lennon: harmony vocal, guitar and handclaps/ Paul McCartney: vocal, bass guitar, piano and handclaps/ George Harrison: harmony vocal and handclaps/ Ringo Starr: drums and handclaps. The song was recorded on June 8th and 9th, 1966 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.

Rating “Good Day Sunshine” on a scale of 1 to 5  ***** a classic.

  • The song was never released as…

Avoid the Big “C”

Wonderful post!
Another “must” reblog share!

The Big ‘ C ‘

No I’m not talking about cancer. Although the build up of negative and suppressed emotions have every link to cancer and other diseases… I am talking about Complaining… a little complaining is ok and good when we need to vent out our emotions or bring to someone’s notice or correct something by expressing an experience, but too much of it, that is a bad thing. Not only does it re-wire the brain for negativity, it becomes a habit and a bad habit, only creating more negativity for you and people around. A complaining person can change the energy and environment around her/him in an instant. Research from Stanford university shows how half an hour of complaining can physically damage a persons brain.

Complain to bring about some change and then stop. Constant complaining is only a way of seeking more and more attention hoping…

Stupid things people say to someone with insomnia

Suffer from insomnia?
Here’s one for ya!

Another had to reblog!!

Today I thought I’d make a little list because I am too lazy to write a proper post thought that I’m probably tapping into a deep well. Insomnia is one of the hardest things for people to understand if they’ve never experienced it themselves and the stupidities I’ve heard would make a book on their own right.

So here are some of the best, feel free to add your own.

  • “Why don’t you just sleep?” Jesus Christ, haven’t thought of that! You absolute genius, you cracked it!
  • “How can you not sleep? I’ve never had trouble sleeping. I just close my eyes and that’s that.” Thx 4 tht m8, nice 2 know.
  • “Sleep is something you should be able to do naturally.” Really?
  • “Why do you have to take sleeping pills?” You know, just fancied it.
  • “How did you sleep last night? I slept wonderfully. I feel so recharged!” Excuse…

“Never Miss An Opportunity To Be HAPPY”

If you are always running after big things, how will you admire the great beauty and soul-soothing joy in the little things of life? This prerequisite of living through life PERFECTLY, make us forget the simple joys that make our heart smile. Because we often take them as a hindrance in our path to our grand materialistic achievements.

We fear to go out in the rain,
to prevent it from spoiling our wardrobe.
We fear to buy the dress that we really liked,
because if we don’t dress trendy people will judge us.
we just can’t let go and dance freely,
because the fear of being viewed as a failure is too much embarrassing.
when was the last time we had a loud hearty laugh?
coz we don’t want our…
