Your attitude

Ain’t nothing new,

I perfected it

Long before you,

Were even born.

Rather funny,

That I,

Once, just like you,

Thought I knew

Everything too!

I didn’t.

In time, my dear,

I have to say,

There definitely,

Will come a day.

The one you-

The words,

I speak are true.

In life

There are

Unrealized moments

That will mold you.

People that will hold you.

Other’s that,

Will set you free.

That’s just the way

It’s gonna be.

No one knows,

What the years will bring.

My hope,

You take time

To observe and absorb

All of it in,

And do your very best.

May you keep

Your open heart,

Give hugs to those in need,

Be kind,

And plant some

Hope, silliness,

Along with

Happiness seeds,

Wherever your

Path may lead you.

One last wish,

Is mine, selfishly.

At some point,

That path your on,

Brings you back

Towards me.

Moms hearts

Have a need

For their

Children’s endless

Joy and possibilities

And the chance

To experience

all the

Glorious gifts

Our universe

Has to offer.

As I recall

Our story,

Isn’t new at all.

Seems my mom,

Did regale one

Similar .

I didn’t believe her, either.

Kind Regards – K

  1. This really struck a chord with me. I was so stubborn as a kid, my mom said she hoped I had a child just like me! And of course, I did! I used to mourn for the time I lost with My mom and for the time I’m losing with my son. But I know it all fits into the circle of life. I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by my blog, too.

  2. Beautiful blog full of positive thoughts and feelings despite what you have gone through. You are a strong person and this blog is undoubtedly therapeutic as is mine to me. Thank you so much for following my blog. I really appreciate this. I like this poem for its apparent simplicity but deepest significance and message. Yes, life is about those around that help us carry on, that we help each other, not abuse each other. It is essentially about chosing the right way to continue our walk. Life is about attitude. Love this: “Unrealized moments/ That will mold you./ People that will hold you.”

    1. A fond memory from long ago. ❀️ Thank you for noticing.
Ha ha! I was so little.

Amazing how life comes full circle! Who would have thought that I, The original rebel, would be giving such advice to one of my children. Ha ha!

      That’s life! ❀️

    2. It so does happen coz once we grow we realize how much trouble we have to our parents then we want our kids to learn from our experience forgetting that, they are at the same age when we rebelled and we learned by experiencing so will they πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
